Linking the World

We express our connectedness with places and people beyond our immediate community by developing an understanding of what it means to belong to a global society and taking action on issues of justice, poverty and peace.

Internationally we are committed to the World Church Office of the Methodist Church, which develops relationships with Partner Churches around the world;

We are committed to Christian Aid (,  a development charity helping people to help themselves out of poverty in more than 50 countries. For more information click here to go to the Christian Aid Website.

We are committed to MRDF (Methodist Relief and Development Fund, which works along similar lines to Christian Aid, but often focuses on somewhat smaller projects. For more information click here to go to All We Can.

                              Nationally we support the work of Action for Children

Whitechapel Mission in London (

We support Whitechapel in their efforts to serve the men and women who are caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness and dependencies of many kinds. There are lists on the noticeboard and on the table in the vestibule of the most urgent needs in toiletries, food and clothing. If you wish to make a donation they are always envelopes in the vestibule table for this and if you are a taxpayer this can be Gift Aided.
For more information please see me.

The Whitechapel Mission is such an amazing place, Tony, Sue Miller and their teams are there 365 days a year caring for the Men and Women who have nowhere else to turn. There are no entry visas or permits, the doors of Whitechapel are open to all.

It is with their grateful thanks that we are able to do our regular collections three times during the year. Although donations of money can be given at any time I do keep them and take on the regular deliveries.

 Everyone at Ruislip Manor are truly magnificent

Roger Davis.
