Caring for people in crisis
This is designed to bring relief from stress and to encourage relaxation. It is a quality break from caring.
The treatment comprises basic hand care, hand and forearm massage and neck and shoulder massage through clothing.
All volunteers delivering this service are trained to high standards and are empathic and caring people.
You will receive the service in pleasant surroundings. The gentle perfume or aromatherapy oils is calming and the sound of soothing music assists relaxation.

The sessions provide quality breaks for caring and carers are encouraged to stay as long as possible to socialise with others carers and helpers from the church..
A Support worker from Hillingdon Carers is there to listen to your concerns and try to help you. She can advise on entitlements you may be able to claim and give you information about the support that may be available.
The treatments are unhurried and you should allow sufficient time to obtain the maximum benefit from the session.
A full treatment takes about 40 minutes.
You are not obliged to stay for the three hours
